Managing Executive Support Services in every
organization is difficult but not possible if you follow the procedures and
keep yourself updated. The service provided will depend on the responsibility
given by the organization but it is important to know what are the expected
roles and responsibilities of Executive Assistants.
The key roles and responsibilities can be as
follows:
i. Provide high usual administrative support senior manager and head of
organization.
ii.
Responsible for the providing administrative support to other staffs under organization in different
departments.
iii. Help in development, implementation and maintenance
of effective and confidential office management practices.
iv. Coordinate and maintain the records of all
correspondence in a confidential
filing system.
v. Agree to assigned administrative works by superiors.
Technical knowledge required:
i.
Good
communication skills, both verbal and written to use in a professional
environment.
ii.
Capability to develop and
maintain good working
relationships with people at all levels and maintain confidentiality in dealing
with issues of a sensitive or personal nature.
iii.
Ability to work by yourself, set priorities to achieve organization’s objectives and capacity to work under pressure.
iv. Experience in providing confidential decision-making assistance and administrative support
services to staffs.
v. Experience in the use of Microsoft software,
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
vi. Good knowledge of office
management and administrative procedures and practices.
